Throughout this year (And what a year it’s been) We have journeyed through highs and lows mountains and valleys and together learnt an awful lot. Though I am a teacher One thing you may not know is how much I learn from you every day, every week and every month. When I see you wrestle with that maths strategy, or art activity, or writing task ask questions, get frustrated, and maybe even cry - but not give up I am inspired to not give up myself. When I see you struggle with doing something you don’t want to do (like wait for your turn to speak when you’re desperate to share your idea) But do it anyway, hoping that it will help you in learning or in life I am humbled that you would trust me so. When I see you angry at someone who has done you wrong and so easily let that go and walk away arm in arm I am reminded of the beauty of forgiveness, and friendship, and love. Every day I feel the weight and the treasure of holding your hands and your heart (and know that you hold mine too) And it is now with both joy and sadness that I must let you go. I hope and I pray that as you journey through life you would know success, but more importantly that when you know great failure you would remember you are precious you are loved and you are learning more than you could ever do than when things go well. And learning - is a wonderful thing.

Today we farewell the lovely Miss Bell. Miss Bell is a student teacher, and has nearly completed her Graduate Diploma in Teaching. She now just has one final practicum to complete at another school. We will miss her enthusiasm, her creative ideas, and her beautiful singing and guitar playing. We wish Miss Bell all the best at her next practicum and in her future career.
